The Sentinel Users Preparation (SUP) initiative is part of ESA’s FutureEO programme within the Earth Observation Programmes Directorate. It helps Europe prepare for the future Copernicus Sentinel Expansion and Next Generation missions by building expertise, testing new methods, and supporting the uptake of new Earth observation data and products.

SUP works with stakeholder communities across key application domains to ensure future services are ready to address high-priority societal challenges. By developing and validating approaches for using new Copernicus datasets, SUP strengthens both the supply side and the user side of the EO ecosystem.
